grace led in life

So much has happened...it's all been very exciting!

We got a call from our social worker asking if we'd like to see the file of a precious child...we of course said yes!! We read this file and attached ourselves quickly with everything we were reading about this little one. Every word is precious information! We prayed and knew we wanted to move ahead in pursuing to adopt this little one ...Wooooo Hoooooo! We contacted our social worker at Lifeline Children's Services to let them know we wanted to move ahead with this little kiddo! They were so happy along with us! Woooooo Hooooo!

At this point, Justin and I were given more paperwork to fill out.
Monday morning, we sent our LOI (letter of intent - stating our desire to adopt this little one) digitally to China. Tuesday we received our PA (pre-approval)!!!!! Woooo hooooo! A pre-approval is essentially putting a child on hold in China so their file will not be shared anymore with other agencies and people. China has approved for us to be pursuing this little one through adoption, but it will still take some time before we have a complete referral. The estimated time to receive full approval and our official referral documents will be 3-4 months.

 

We are absolutely thrilled, excited, in shock and awe, and in love with this little one!

So are you anxious to see what "little one" is? ;) Is this precious kiddo a girl or boy!?!?
