grace led in life: Change Equals Love for One - Campaign and Tshirt fundraiser!

We have been fully working on our home study! Filling out loads of paperwork, going to appointments, and having our social worker visit our home! It has been surreal to be in the process again. So extremely fun to get to include Zeke in the process...he is so excited to be a big brother!

Along with the adoption process, we have been working on starting up fundraising.
Adoption process costs are great...we are doing all we can to meet all the costs, but it is one we are needing to reach out for help with. We were speechless and immensely grateful at all the support and encouragement that we received during Zeke's adoption. What impacted us so much, was how much you, our family and friends, and even strangers, wanted to be a part of the adoption process too...to be a part of helping a little one have a family; change their life. We humbly are stepping forward in the fundraising journey again. We do not have expectations, but are prayerfully moving forward asking God to help us through you!
James 1:27a says - Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress...
We wanted to say how impactful on so many levels it is, when people come together to change a life. Even if you are not the ones adopting, you can still do so much for adoption. Prayer, support, encouragement, and giving.

This first fundraiser that we are launching, is for families to do together!

This fundraiser is inspired by two little gals that gave us their piggy bank change for Z's adoption.
They were not told to do this by their parents, but chose, on their own, to give their change to help our little one come home. It meant so much to us.
We loved that idea and wanted to start a campaign of CHANGE!

We were so blessed to get to design and make shirts to sell to also fundraise in this campaign! Here is the story. We had been considering the idea of a t-shirt sale...I had been researching shirts and how to order them. A sweet friend heard this and was able to help us find equipment to screen print our own designs (at no cost!)...for us to do the work! We loved this idea and were excited to do that work to help bring our baby home! I had been researching purchasing blank tees and came across and incredible organization! We were able to purchase blank shirts through "Go Exchange" - GOEX is owned by The Global Orphan Project. They devote all profits to care for orphaned and vulnerable children.
So, all avenues of making these shirts is going toward children in need.
This meant a lot to us.
