We are headed to our girl so soon!!!!!!!
Wow...we have said "wow" so many times throughout this adoption process!
We are in awe of how God has worked and led us to Isla...and we do not take for granted how fast this process has gone!
We are so very grateful for everyone that joined us in this journey in support, encouragement and prayers!
Since our last blog post...the last steps have flown by!
(although it always still feels like forever when you are waiting to get to your little one...as any adoptive family would tell you! ;)
This last week...our "Article 5" (document) was "picked up" on Monday Oct. 23rd and overnighted to Beijing. We then, were waiting for our travel approval (TA) and our consulate appointment in China (CA). Well, those both came on WEDNESDAY Oct. 25th!
We were shocked and SO VERY EXCITED!
You guys...this means IT IS TIME!
Time to get all last details in order, pack our bags, and
GET TO OUR GIRL!!

We are so excited to share that we will have our girl in our arms in TWO weeks!
We were able to get a small update and few pictures of our girl!
We are praising the Lord that she has gained 3 lbs and is sitting!
We have been praying so much for her and we know you all have too!

Our greatest prayer is for God to fill Isla's heart with peace as she goes through this journey...we know what is happening, but she will not fully understand. Pray for her little heart and mind. She has already been through so much in her little life! We know this journey may not be easy and could be such a struggle for her...but we continue to pray that she will feel safe with us, feel peace with us, and feel our love. We trust the Lord as we enter this time. He is faithful!

The best update! Praise God for sweet Isla, His perfect plan to form this beautiful family and His perfect timing in getting her in your arms so quickly! Praying praying praying!! Especially for her little heart...that she feels loved, safe and at peace. Love you all <3
