I know you all have been waiting for another blog post!
We had been waiting on one paper/approval needed for our home study to be complete...and it took longer than expected for that to come through...but we are so glad to say we are COMPLETELY done with the home study and have the report IN HAND! :) YAY!!!!
We've got to make that cake and celebrate! ;)
During our time of waiting we filled out our I800a application to the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services. As soon as the home study was complete...the application and supporting documents were sent off! So, now we wait for their approval...which can take up to three months. (we're prayin' sooner!)
While we are in waiting again...we are working on the documents for our dossier! (Pronounced "doss-ee-ay" A collection of approximately 13 documents submitted to the Chinese Center for Children's Welfare and Adoption)
So excited to see that step coming up ahead!
EVERY STEP IS ONE STEP CLOSER TO OUR LITTLE LOVE!
We are also excited that we will be in MN in 6 short weeks! yay!
In 6 weeks is our adoption fundraiser!
We are excited to see so many of our MN friends and family! Thank you for wanting to join us in this journey to our LITTE LOVE! That's what this is ALL about!!
